Hannah Southern is a podcast marketing and audience development specialist with over eight years’ experience. As Commercial Lead at Podcast Discovery, she works closely with podcasters and podcast producers to build bespoke growth campaigns that build strong relationships with their target audience.
Before joining Podcast Discovery, Hannah led audience development at Lower Street, working closely with brands to create podcasts that supported their business goals and spoke to their target audience, as well as podcast growth strategies for brands such as Adobe, Fidelity, BCG and Stanford University. She’s also held roles at Message Heard and Blue Goose, supporting global brands with audience-first storytelling and podcast strategy.
Hannah is particularly interested in helping very niche and ambitious shows stand out in their market. In her spare time, she listens to an unreasonable number of podcasts – 698 hours in 2023 is her current record.
