Matt Deegan’s been involved in podcasting since its inception, creating the podcast network for Fun Kids, developing the Love Island podcast for ITV, Worst Dates for BBC Sounds and Nappy Days for MTV. He also developed the Podfollow marketing tool, co-created the British Podcast Awards and established Podcast Discovery with Matt Hill.
Outside of podcasting he’s been involved in corporate strategy around radio and audio for GWR, GCap (now Global) and Folder Media and has had strong involvement in the establishment of DAB Digital Radio in the UK. He writes a newsletter about audio and presents The Media Club podcast.
At Podcast Discovery he help support the teams by leading strategy and working with clients to define the best marketing mix to best meet their aims.
